New Job? New City? New Home?

Maybe you want to move to another location far away. Maybe your job requires a long distance move. Whatever the reason, it isn't going to be like moving across town.

This is where the internet can be of assistance. You can often find a website for the Chamber of Commerce in the city you are moving to. They can help you with many things such as:

  • Job availability
  • Schools
  • Stores and Shops
  • Motels/Hotels
  • Places of Worship
  • Taxes and Utilities
  • Hospitals - and much more

If you can't find a website for the Chamber of Commerce for a specific city, you can write a letter asking for information. Most towns have a Chamber of Commerce. Address your letter to "Chamber of Commerce," and then put the city, state and zipcode for that city.

Another great use the internet can provide is locating home dealers in that area. Of course, the time will probably come when you will actually need to make a personal appearance and take care of the finer details but a lot of your long distance information gathering can be done via email or phone.
